A New Look for the Network Home

As part of our redesigning of several key elements of the site one of the areas we have taken another look at is the internal home page of each network.

The home page is what users see immediately after logging on, or when selecting 'home' from the menu post-login. Each network has its own home page.

There have been additions, changes and removals to try and create the best initial experience.

The first change is the removal of the news section from the top right of each page, in its place we have expanded the events display and included a full summary and graphic - including highlighting if you are registered for the event or not.

The second change is the introduction of the latest members view. This section shows the latest 6 users to join the network - so it's easy to spot new people that you may be interested in talking to.

Third on our change list we have additional options for the worlds list - this can be configured differently for each network and will usually show the populated worlds for the network. Not all of the networks have them.

This is an area we are going to put yet more addition focus on at a later date, until then we hope the changes are beneficial to our users.
