Helping Users Identify

When working online one of the biggest questions you have to ask yourself is this: Is the person I am talking to really the person I think I am talking to?

Rather obviously in a professional working environment like Digitell 3D this becomes even more important and our team do try to ensure our users are who their details suggest. However while we have this information most of our users do not.

Therefore one of the pieces of information that we have recently added to account data is a confirmed identity flag. This allows us to identify to other users that either Digitell 3D staff or another trusted party has confirmed that the owner of the account is the same person as described in their profile.

When a user does have confirmed identity status set you will be able to tell by a green tick displayed at the top of their user profile.

One of the other situations that our users may frequently come across is identifying official Digitell 3D staff - especially in situations where our administrative rights allow us to access areas and resources that would otherwise be restricted to only limited user groups.

To help users identify us we have now appended a gold star in the top right of each staff member's user profile. All staff members will also have verified identity status.

Confirmed Identity and Staff Member indicators are for informational use only. Please remember that Digitell Staff will never ask you to reveal your password.
